My taget audience consists of young people between the ages of 16-25 who are intersted in keeping on the leading edge of what's new and cool in the music and fashion idustries. The main music genre will be electronic with a particular focus on underground dance, house and drum and bass music.
Me, my sister, my father and a large part of my friend group all love this scene of music and are always competing to see who can find the newest and most interesting piece of music to show off. We mainly use websites such as YouTube, Tumblr, Soundcloud and Stereomood to find all of our new music.
I'd personally be interested in buying a magazine which showcased upcoming and new music trends to keep me up to date with what's in and trendy so I think it's a good idea to base my magazine around this basic theme.
F A S H I O N
Below are some photos of the various clothes my target audience is likely to wear. Brands such as Levi Strausse, Converse, Dubarry, Vans, Timberland and American Apparel are all potential favourites of my target audience as well as clothes from charity shops and vintage sales. I didn't have any women's clothes to put up here to show but women dress in a very similar fashion to the men in this genre anyway so you can imagine how they'd dress.
